The Cisco CW9174E is an indoor Wi-Fi 7 access point with a DART8 external-antenna connector instead of built-in antennas. Pair it with an omnidirectional or directional antenna to fit the space: standard ceilings, high ceilings, warehouses, gyms and other areas where integrated antennas fall short. It is managed from the Meraki cloud dashboard or a Catalyst 9800 controller.

- Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) with 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz radios, multi-link operation (MLO) and 320 MHz channels on 6 GHz
- 4x4 on 5 GHz and 6 GHz, 2x2 on 2.4 GHz (or dual-radio mode with 4x4 on 2.4 and 5 GHz); PHY rates up to about 17.5 Gbps
- External antenna: DART8 smart-antenna connector; antennas sold separately (CW-ANT-T-O2-D8 omni or CW-ANT-T-D2-D8 directional)
- Built-in accelerometer through the CW-ANT-T antennas to verify mounting orientation
- 1x 100M/1G/2.5G/5G multigigabit Ethernet port; USB 2.0
- Power: 802.3bt for full tri-radio operation with 5G uplink; 802.3at (PoE+) supported
- Dedicated IoT radio (BLE 5.3) and tri-band scanning radio
- Indoor rated: operating temperature -4 to 122 °F (-20 to 50 °C)
- License required: Cisco Wireless Essentials or Advantage subscription
