The Meraki MS130-8 is the entry point to Meraki cloud-managed switching: eight Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 1G SFP uplinks in a compact, fanless desktop chassis.
It has no PoE, so it is meant for devices that bring their own power — PCs, printers, a point-of-sale terminal or a small conference-room setup. With no fan it runs silently on a desk or a wall, draws about 8 W, and ships with its external power supply. The SFP ports can take a fiber uplink back to your main closet.

Licensing and warranty
Needs a Meraki MS130 compact license, sold separately: Enterprise (LIC-MS130-CMPT) or Advanced (LIC-MS130-CMPTA). Under Cisco's newer subscription model the equivalent tier is MS100 Small, Essentials or Advantage. Meraki covers MS130 switches with a lifetime hardware warranty. Managed entirely from the Meraki dashboard, with zero-touch provisioning and automatic firmware upgrades.
